Anime Festival Approved for Newburgh, NY

Anime fans break from convention center to embrace new outdoor festival

Manhattan, NY January 30th

On July 17th-19th, Anime Escape Festival will launch its inaugural multi-day Anime retreat in Newburgh, NY. Dedicated fans will spend three days in the city at the newly built Waterfront Park. At this outdoor environment they will embrace numerous interactive experiences over the traditional indoor convention center setup. This animated festival is specifically curated and catered to the hardcore Anime enthusiast. The food, music, special guests and art put its fans in the middle of a Japanese-inspired cosplay environment.

Universal Envision, the marketing agency which produces Anime Escape set its sights on the Hudson Valley region of New York. The idea was to capture the lush acres of freshly manicured grass fields and mountainous riverfront views. Along the festival grounds are activities such as live animation panels, 8-bit retro lounges, body marbling stations, a digital graffiti wall, bubble tea parties, cosplay craft panels and of course Japanese inspired foods and desserts.
