Pictures Japan, the producer and distributor of the entire RUROUNI KENSHIN live action film franchise, released its official main trailer of the "Rurouni Kenshin: The Final” (in theaters on Apr 23 in Japan, and directed by Keishi Otomo who's also helmed the whole series) on their official YouTube Channel (https://youtu.be/n1iL-DveFUA). The trailer features the theme song “Renegades”, produced and performed by internationally recognized Japanese rock band ONE OK ROCK. ONE OK ROCK has produced & performed the theme songs for the entire “Rurouni Kenshin" series.

●ABOUT THE MOVIE
The RUROUNI KENSHIN live action franchise (“Rurouni Kenshin”('12), “Rurouni Kenshin: Kyoto Inferno”('14), “Rurouni Kenshin: The Legend Ends”('14),with its cumulative boxoffice surpassing 12.5 billion yen in Japan only and also distributed globally, is finally coming to an end. “Rurouni Kenshin: The Final” is one of the two new films which concludes this RUROUNI KENSHIN saga. The latter, “Rurouni Kenshin: The Beginning” is to be released in Japan on June 4, 2021. “The Final” describes the ultimae climax of the series, a fierce duel between Kenshin and Enishi, an ex-brother-in-law who holds a strong grudge against Kenshin. “The Beginning” describes when Kenshin was still “Battosai the Killer” during the fall of the shogunate era, and the heart-wrenching story behind his crossed scars.
