[June 16th - Tokyo, Japan]: FAKY has released their latest single “Take my hand” as the theme song for Akuma to Love Song (A Devil and Her Love Song), which is Hulu Japan's new live-action drama series based on the popular manga of the same name.

“I have been listening to FAKY's songs frequently for a few years. Especially, the song ‘Who We Are’ is a powerful song for me. When I prepared the live-action drama 'A Devil and Her Love Song,' I had already decided in my mind that I would offer FAKY for the theme song. That was because this drama's theme completely matches FAKY, who sings with 'the passion that never afraid of standing by oneself.' We had a chance to listen to ‘Take my hand’ at the first meeting and everyone from the director to the staff in that room felt like, 'This is it!' and agreed to use this song. The director loved this song and immediately shared it with the Camara staff and main clues. As a result, the visual of ‘A Devil and Her Love Song’ is very influenced by the mood of this song. We'd like you to enjoy the matching of the drama and the music.” - Tetsuya Ono, the Producer of Akuma to Love Song (A Devil and Her Love Song)

FAKY's latest single, “Take my hand,” is a cheerful song that gives you the courage to take a step forward and reflects the main heroine, played by Nana Asakawa, characteristics. The lyrics were written by FAKY's leader, Lil' Fang, who also wrote the group's previous single, “HappyEverAfter,” which has been released on April 26th.

“I have been a fan of the original comic of 'A Devil and Her Love Song.' I got an impression from each character who has strugglings but they eventually found their identities and the places where they belong. So I put the words ‘hold hands’ to cheer them up into the lyrics of ‘Take my hand’. We particularly focused on mastering the song adding the live strings to make it epic so that we could express the sense of the scall that its music has. Also, we recorded the verse part individually one sentence each as it goes like relaying the voice baton to express the concept of this song. I want you to check on that. ‘Take my hand’ is a sing-along friendly song for both boys and girls so that'll be great if you could sing together like the characters at Tozuka Minami High School students.”
- Lil' Fang, Leader of FAKY

Since the start of the year, FAKY have been making many headlines including being featured on, ET Canada, NYLON, an interview with Kevan Kenney (MTV and Radio.com), and Billboard Japan to name a few. FAKY has seen a consistent rise in their streams this year. The music video for their recent single, “99,” which was selected as the OST from popular Japanese drama Rika-Reverse, along with the music video for “The Light” hit over a million views shortly after they were released. This was followed by their music video for “little more” also crossing the million view mark and “half-moon” getting over 3 million views.
