NETFLIX ANNOUNCES ‘TUDUM: ANIME SPOTLIGHT’ - A SPECIAL PRE-SHOW TO THE FIRST EVER TUDUM GLOBAL FAN EVENT

On September 25, 2021 Netflix will be hosting “TUDUM: A NETFLIX GLOBAL FAN EVENT” (“TUDUM”), a special celebration for entertainment fans across the globe. This event is the first of its kind and will be streaming exclusively on YouTube. More than 145 of our biggest stars and creators from around the world — representing over 70 series, films and specials — will join the virtual event for this exciting day full of exclusives and first looks.

The “TUDUM: Anime Spotlight” - a special pre-show celebrating anime with fans everywhere - will be opening the virtual event at 5AM PT (8AM ET) on Saturday, September 25. The pre-show will include special segments and panels, celebrating both new and upcoming anime as well as titles fans already know and love, including longtime favorite Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon Eternal The Movie.

For Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon Eternal The Movie, the global voice cast behind Super Sailor Moon/Usagi Tsukino will come together for a special panel hosted by fan and actress Maitreyi Ramakrishnan (Never Have I Ever). The group will include Kotono Mitsuishi (Japanese), Sabine Bohlmann (German), Patricia Acevedo (Mexican Spanish), Adelaida López (Spanish), Stephanie Sheh (English), Agatha Paulita (Brazilian Portuguese), and Lucrezia Marricchi (Italian). The cast will talk about their experience as the voices of the iconic main character and to celebrate the latest installment in the hugely successful, and timeless franchise.

For Ultraman, voice cast Ryōhei Kimura joins Anime Spotlight alongside special guest Ultraman. At the event, Netflix will reveal the latest teaser art for the long-awaited second season of the series premiering in 2022.

In addition, comic book legend Mark Millar and director Motonobu Hori, the creators of Super Crooks tag team in a fireside chat to discuss the genesis of how the show came to life, and what fans can look forward to. Its much-anticipated launch date, as well as a teaser trailer will be revealed right here, only on TUDUM: Anime Spotlight.
