Azuki to Release Marching Band Manga Crescent Moon Marching on March 16, 2023

SAN FRANCISCO, CA—Digital manga subscription service Azuki has exclusively licensed Hamachi Yamada's manga series Crescent Moon Marching for worldwide release (except Japan) in English. The first two chapters will be available to read in the Azuki apps and website on March 16, 2023.

Crescent Moon Marching was originally published in Japan by Futabasha in Manga Action, the same magazine as My Dear Detective: Mitsuko's Case Files and Hikaru in the Light! The official English synopsis is below:

To escape the stress of city life, high school, and her overbearing mother, Mizuki runs away from home to spend spring break with her aunt. But her future is looming and she still has no idea what she's interested in… until she crosses paths with Akira, a high school trumpet player who introduces her to the world of marching band! Music, movement, and the passions of youth collide in a breathtaking coming-of-age tale for fans of Sound! Euphonium and Whisper of the Heart!

Azuki is available on the web at www.azuki.co and in the iOS App Store and Google Play Store. The app features over 200 series, including international hits like Attack on Titan and acclaimed new series like Natsume & Natsume, I Fell for a Fujoshi, and My Dear Detective: Mitsuko's Case Files.

Fans can start reading for free with advertisements today, or upgrade to Premium and access the full catalog for just $4.99 a month. A 14-day free trial and discounted annual plan are also available.
