Junko Iwao to Be Guest at Otakon 2023

Washington, D.C. (May 5, 2023) – Japanese voice actress Junko Iwao will be a guest at Otakon 2023, according to Otakorp Inc. She has lent her voice to many popular anime characters over the years.

Iwao's notable roles include Tomoyo Daidouji in "Cardcaptor Sakura," Mima Kirigoe in "Perfect Blue," Kazuko Saotome in "Puella Magi Madoka Magica," Hikari Horaki in "Neon Genesis Evangelion," Kenta Hasegawa in "Chibi Maruko-chan," Sayuri Yumoto in "Tamako Market," Haruna Otoo in "WORKING!!" and Loerelei Loer in "Space Battleship Yamato 2199: Odyssey of the Celestial Ark," among many other roles.

Not only is she an accomplished voice actress, but Iwao is also a talented singer. She has released several albums and has performed theme songs for various anime series.

Otakon 2023 will be held from July 28 to July 30 at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center.
