Aoashi Season 2 Reveals The Part 1 Main PV for 10-FEET and Ai Higuchi Power the Sound of Season 2, Unveiled Alongside the Trailer Ahead of the October Premiere
LOS ANGELES, September 1, 2026 — Shogakukan-Shueisha Productions Co., Ltd. today revealed the main PV for Part 1 of the second season of the acclaimed soccer anime AOASHI, along with its theme songs: "Fortress Defense" by rock band 10-FEET on the opening and "Triangle" by singer-songwriter Ai Higuchi on the ending. The trailer sets up a premiere this October, as the season's first 12 of 24 episodes follow Ashito Aoi's climb into the Tokyo City Esperion A Team and onto a far tougher stage.
Offering a first listen to segments of both songs, the PV opens on Ai Higuchi's "Triangle," with Ashito and his teammates thrown by the level of play in the Premier League and Akutsu, Kuribayashi, Kiriki, and the others waiting for the newly promoted A Team. On a stage where raw ability no longer carries them, the players struggle, face their own weaknesses, and keep looking up toward greater heights. The second half shifts to the drive of 10-FEET's "Fortress Defense," running scene to scene, including Kuribayashi telling Ashito exactly what he expects of him, as the team races across the pitch carrying its frustration, envy, and impatience.

Both artists wrote their theme specifically for the series. 10-FEET, the rock band behind the ending theme to the hit film THE FIRST SLAM DUNK, take the opening with "Fortress Defense":

Its take on soccer is fascinating, but what draws me in just as much is how the main character relates to his family, his friends, and the people around him. Ai Higuchi, whose anime credits include the ending to Attack on Titan: The Final Season Part 2 and the opening lyrics for Bocchi the Rock!, tied "Triangle" to what has always pulled her toward AOASHI:
“No matter how high you climb, there is always something above you. Even if you become the best where you are, the next step means starting over at the bottom of the next level. That is painful, but the joy of it wins out, and you keep climbing. I have always felt a kind of stinging, aching longing for that world of AOASHI. This is a song for the dreamers who cannot let it end yet, who cannot allow it to end, who cannot give up.”
