posted on by Egan Loo
The musical duo YUZU are contributing their new song "Ola!!" as the theme song of Eiga Crayon Shin-chan: Ora no Hikkoshi Monogatari ~Saboten Daishūgeki (Crayon Shin-chan the Movie: My Story About Moving ~The Great Cactus Attack~), the film opening on April 18. In addition, the Crayon Shin-chan television anime will begin using the song as its ending theme in the February 6 episode.
In the 23rd and newest film in the long-running anime franchise, Shin-chan's Nohara family moves from Kasukabe City to Mexico. The family overcomes their separation from friends, deal with the foreign land and culture … and face moving cactus.
Not only is YUZU providing "Ola!!" as the television anime's ending song, but they themselves will appear in animated form with Shin-chan for the ending sequence.
Director Masakazu Hashimoto and writer Kimiko Ueno, who both worked on Eiga Crayon Shin-chan: Bakauma—! B-Kyū Gourmet Survival!!, are returning to helm the newest film.

The song was also used as the theme for the Hunter × Hunter: Phantom Rouge film. The duo then contributed the ending theme song "Nagareboshi☆Kirari" for the television series. They then contributed the song "Hyōri Ittai" as the theme song for the Hunter × Hunter -The Last Mission- film and the ending theme for the television series. They also performed the theme song for the live-action film of Hiromu Arakawa's agricultural school manga Silver Spoon, as well as an ending song for Doraemon.
