Crunchyroll, Funimation to Stream Interviews with Monster Girls, ACCA, Fuuka, Chaos;Child Anime

Stream times announced for subtitled, dubbed versions

Crunchyroll and FUNimation Entertainment announced on Thursday that they will stream the Interviews with Monster Girls (Demi-chan wa Kataritai), ACCA: 13-Territory Inspection Dept., Fuuka (Fūka), and Chaos;Child anime as they air in Japan. Funimation's streams will be simuldubs.

Interviews with Monster Girls will premiere on Crunchyroll worldwide outside of Asia on Saturday, January 7 at 12:30 p.m. EST. Funimation's dub will premiere on January 25 at 9:30 p.m. EST.

The anime will premiere in Japan on January 7 on Tokyo MX, MBS, and BS11. The first episode will air as a one-hour New Year's special.

Kodansha Comics is releasing the manga in English, and it describes the story:

Monsters of legend walk among us, going by the name “demi-humans.” Ever since he's discovered the “demis,” one young man has become obsessed with them. So when he gets a job as a teacher at a high school for demi-girls, it's a dream come true! But these demis, who include a rambunctious vampire, a bashful headless girl, and a succubus, have all the problems normal teenagers have, on top of their supernatural conditions. How to handle a classroom full of them?!

Ryo Ando (chief episode director for both seasons of GATE) is making his directorial debut with the series at A-1 Pictures. Takao Yoshioka (Elfen Lied, Ikki Tousen, The Familiar of Zero) is both writing and overseeing the scripts. Tetsuya Kawakami (The Asterisk War: The Academy City on the Water) is designing the characters, and Masaru Yokoyama (Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans, Garakowa -Restore the World-, BBK/BRNK) is composing the music.

ACCA: 13-Territory Inspection Dept. will premiere at 11:00 a.m. EST on Tuesday, January 10 on Crunchyroll, where it will stream in the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, and Latin America. Funimation's dub will premiere on January 26 at 9:30 p.m. EST.

The anime will premiere in Japan on Tokyo MX on January 10 at 11:00 p.m.

Shingo Natsume (One-Punch Man, both seasons of Space Dandy) is directing the anime at MADHOUSE. Tomohiro Suzuki (One-Punch Man, Tiger & Bunny scriptwriter) is handling the series composition, Norifumi Kugai (One-Punch Man, Space Dandy key animator) is adapting the characters for animation, and Ryō Takahashi (Regalia: The Three Sacred Stars, Please tell me! Galko-chan) is composing the music.

The manga is set in a world separated into 13 wards, with each ward having an observation division controlled by the organization known as "ACCA." The story centers on Gene, known as the craftiest member of ACCA. The anime will get an anime-original character named ACCA-kun. ACCA-kun is the mascot character for the fictional organization ACCA.

Fuuka will premiere at on Friday, January 6 on Crunchyroll, where it will stream in North America, Latin America (Central and South America including Caribbean), United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Nordics, and Netherlands. The premiere time will be announced later. Funimation's dub will premiere on January 25 at 9:00 p.m. EST.

The anime will premiere on in Japan on WOWOW on January 6 at 10:00 p.m.

Keizou Kusakawa (Kan Colle, Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha A's) is directing the anime at diomedéa (Squid Girl, Handa-kun). Aoi Akashiro (Endride, KONOSUBA) is in charge of series composition, and Yoshino Honda (The Lost Village, Astarotte's Toy animation director) is designing the characters. Takurō Iga (Aria the Scarlet Ammo Double A, Yuyake Dandan shorts) and WEST GROUND (The Asterisk War: The Academy City on the Water, Kan Colle theme song composition) are composing the music.

The story centers on a young man named Yū Haruna who has just switched schools. He's a bit shy, and he's constantly glued to his smartphone so he can check Twitter. He meets a girl named Fūka Akitsuki, who doesn't even have a cell phone, is free-spirited, and naturally fascinates others. Yū recently has been getting back in touch via Twitter with his childhood friend Koyuki Hinashi, who is now a popular singer. One day Yū invites Fūka to one of Koyuki's concerts, and there the three meet for the first time. The story follows the love triangle between a love that started through electronics, and a love that didn't start through electronics. Fūka is the daughter of the protagonists from Seo's earlier manga Suzuka.

Chaos;Child will premiere worldwide outside of Asia on Crunchyroll on Wednesday, January 11 at 12:00 p.m. EST. Funimation's dub will premiere on January 31 at 9:30 p.m. EST.

The anime will premiere in Japan on AT-X on January 11 at 11:30 p.m.

Masato Jinbo (Fate/kaleid liner Prisma Illya 2wei!, Shomin Sample, Nozo × Kimi) is directing the anime and is also handling series composition. Kazuyuki Yamayoshi is serving as chief animation director and adapting Mitsumi Sasaki and Yukihiro Matsuo's character designs for animation. SILVER LINK is animating the series. Takeshi Abo (Steins;Gate, Robotics;Notes) and onoken (Accel World) are composing the music.

In the psycho-suspense story, after a magnitude-7.8 earthquake hits Tokyo's Shibuya ward on November 6, 2009, a black fire spreads and causes mass panic on the day of the earthquake. The sudden disaster that becomes known as the "Shibuya Earthquake" kills 3,851 people and injures 30,927 more. The game is set in a reconstructed Shibuya district in October 2015. A string of mysterious deaths occurs in Shibuya amidst the reconstruction. People begin to take notice as the strange events start on the same day that chaos broke out in Shibuya with a certain incident five years earlier. The events are called the "Return of the New Generation Madness."
