Sweet Valerian to premiere on August 1st
Sweet Valerian, a new original TV anime series with concept and original character designs by CLAMP, will premiere on Japan's MBS and TBS networks on August 1st.
Madhouse will produce the animation for the series.
When ordinary girls Kanoko, Pop (poppu) and Kate (keito), who live in
the fictional town Ajaran city, go to take their test for a moped license, they are accidentally noticed by the living enignma - ear hermit. Instead of receiving a moped license they acquire a "Valerian License." As Valerian they will fight the evil "stress group", but for some reason they transform to cute little rabbits.
