Pokemon Causes Cancer

posted on by Christopher Macdonald
Scientists at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center (MSKCC) have identified a new gene that, when aberrant, can cause cancer. They've named the gene POKEMON or POK Erythroid Myeloid Ontogenic factor. Details about the cancer-causing Pokémon gene can be read on the MSKCC website or in the January 20th issue of Nature magazine.
