Gundam: True Odyssey PS2 Game to Feature Completely New Universe with no Zeon or Federation.
Later this summer Bandai Japan will release a new Gundam PS2 game. The game, called Gundam: True Odyssey, will feature a completely new Universe that will not involve the Federation or Zeon.
True Odyssey will be an RPG-type game that will take place in an alternate future where Gundam mobile suits have become a a part of every day life.
The game's producer and designer stated that they decided to create an original setting for the game because they suspect that fans are getting bored with the existing storylines.
At this time no anime tie-in with True Odyssey has been announced.
