IIRC, it was based on a still ongoing light novel series, but the ending did bring closure to what the anime's narrative was. However, it does have a "What other adventures await..." sort of feel.
I'm not sure if I'm misunderstanding part of this, but Honoka does have a strong personality. As for the talking tank, I thought it was a good character and made sense since part of the series deals with how technology can be used for good or evil. But yeah, the narrator was unnecessary. |

I enjoyed The Third The Girl With the Blue Eye a great deal. It has been awhile since I saw it but I don't remember being unsatisfied with the ending. There is no high intensity blow them all up finale but it isn't that kind of show in the first place. There were a couple of volumes of manga but they were in the nature of a side story. If its cheap enough buy it, it is worth the trip. |

I don't remember that many details about The Third but I did enjoy watching it. The only really negative thing I remember is that a couple of episodes were animated by the Z squad-not the B squad but the Z squad, as in so bad in one of the episodes I didn't even recognize the main character. It only happened in a few episodes as I recall. If you go to Manga.com or have their channel on a set-top box (e.g., Roku or FireTV) you can stream the show (with ads). I am referring here to the company Manga Entertainment (which for some reason has a lot of Nozomi releases streaming on their site).

pretty much every sentai films release from earlier this year is on sale
I'm not sure what you guys were expecting I hope it's not something silly like aniplex titles half-off the funimation discounts have been pretty horrible but the prices are similar across all sellers so I think that is more funimations fault |
