Of those, I bought K-ON! vol. 1 and Queen's Blade vol. 2.

I'm a Code Geass fan but Special Edition 'Zero Requiem' is a series recap disc, which I'm not really interested in. (It's also got some live event footage, but didn't sound like something I couldn't live without.)

That's a lot of Blu-rays.

And as another generation of media comes and goes it's just the same as ever - outside of Japan we're way behind on releases...

Agreed. I'm sure it would make more money than some of their other BD choices anyway. Like GITS 2. Wink

It's barely selling as a standard DVD edition, why would Bandai waste their effort on a BD edition if no one would buy it?

It still made the ICv2 list though, so perhaps your definition of "barely" selling is different from theirs. Not that I care about BD releases myself, but I'm sure there are many products out there that are selling worse, to say the least.

Why on earth does an article from 27 Feb 2011 link to this thread? There's a very slight connection, but it seems kinda random...

Yeah, all the responses mentioning Eden, Index and 00 threw me at first.

Anyway, good on Oreimo!
