Apparently my friends already have a group of people going to see it at Philadelphia's Ritz at the Bourse. So, I'll be there, even if I do have to drive like two hours to get there.

Yeah, and even if they did have it in my state, they'd probably put it in Dallas, which is a 4-hour drive. I'm not driving 4 hours to watch this movie, as good as it is.

Yeah, although I've noticed there's a little theater in Danville which is on the VA/NC border that sometimes gets anime films and I think Charlotte's gotten them once or twice.
Aw, and I wanted to see this one in theaters too but the closest one to me is almost 10 hours away, ew.

*extreme sad face*
I know i shouldn't be sad since I already saw it in Austin and some people still haven't seen at all.
but I've wanted to see it again so badly ever since.

but man, not even a showing in Dallas or Houston? I know Texas isn't exactly famous for being prestigious in film and arts I guess...but we've got alot of people who live here Anime hyper shouldn't that count for something?

*sighs and waits for the DVD*

Wait a minute, they're actually showing it down here in New Mexico? I will definitely be taking that hour-long drive to Santa Fe to go see it. Heck, while I'm up there, I might even stop by Ten Thousand Waves for a bit as well (that is, if I have the means to do so at the time Wink ). I've never been there during the winter. Anyway...

Thanks FUNimation!

I was surprised too. We rarely get any anime screenings down here (save for Fathom Events). The hour-long drive will be totally worth it. Theres no way I'm going to miss this Very Happy

Texas seems to always get the short end of the stick when it comes to this kind of thing, even though we're the second-most populous state.

Hm I have no idea where that is in Chicago but I guess I'll have to do some googleing now in order to find a way to get there.

I really want to see this movie, now if only I could get someone to drive me to the two hours in order to get in to the city ._.

Aww, it's going to be in Chicago? Figures.
I'd love to see it, but there's no way I can convinced both my best friend (who isn't too sure he wants to see the movie) and my mom (overprotective and won't let me go alone) to go to Chicago just to see a movie.

But hey, if they say try to convince local theaters, I'll give mine a shot this weekend - they were locations for Eureka Seven and Sword of the Stranger in the past, so perhaps they'll carry Summer Wars.

Aw man, They never play these types of things in the Washington DC area. Listings are disappoint.

Didn't expect it to be playing at the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston. Thankfully I live right across the street from the MFA.
