I can't remember if a mental illness was addressed or not. I think its as phia_one says he's just socially awkward. From what I can remember it has something to do with spoiler[his family troubles, especially his brother.] Wow it really has been a while since I've read some of the later volumes as my memory is failing me.

I always thought spoiler[ he was on the autism spectrum] but I don't think it's ever specifically addressed. I like this series for the humor, not the romance.

Yeah if we consider the story as real life I do think Haru has related disorder.. Even if you're socially awkward or inept I don't think a normal person would act spoiler[aggressive or be extremely possessive.] |
