Well, he didn't end up exiled in a church!
Yeah, he sure went from desperate to batshit drooling psycho in 6 seconds, didn't he. Every time I tried to give this show the benefit of the doubt that they were setting themselves up to do something clever, they punted the ball off into the stands for the extra cliche points. it seemed like all the nobles freaking out could've been easily avoided if the king would've just asked Well who he wanted to entitle. If everyone was fine with his choices, the king could either say, you go, boy, or, I'll do it myself when the time comes. I get why they did it the way they did, but I ended up not being clear as to who was in on the scheme. Especially whether the king knew from the start or only after Mohawk's bad acting. If everyone was in on it, then who was the charade for? But it's not like I'll lose any sleep over it. It was entertaining enough since I never expected anything of it going in, and it didn't demand anything of me in return. Mostly harmless, I guess. |
