Also, lack of self awareness is just mindboggling.

No more so then your rather transparent lack of self-awareness. For how many shows have you constantly insisted that they were chock full of yuri when it was proven that any such implications were mere subtext? You seem utterly oblivious to your own obsessive nature and what it implies, but I wonder if you have every met a lesbian couple in real life. Do you think they'd actually let you watch? Or is yuri merely a mechanism to fantasize about the act without having to worry about measuring up to another man?

All are quite interesting questions, but as you can see, anyone can play the game of dime-store psychologist.

Yuri...subtext. Obviously.

Wow,now that is some serious goddamn projection. I can't remember ever actually mentioning anything about real-life lesbians, or wanting to watch them (outside of porn, obviously, but that is trivial to come by), because that would be GODDAMN CREEPY. The fact that you think I have such motivations is actually insulting. Ugh.

Also there is absolutely nothing I loathe more than machismo posing, and all the implied "measuring up" that goes along with it. I am very secure in my sexuality, thank-you-very-much.

Clearly. I, however, do not make it a point to harp constantly on how screwed up and deviant Japanese Otaku are, and use the few examples that make the "news" (such as it is) to paint every Japanese Otaku with the same broad, insulting brush.

Oh, but you do. See any thread about a show you like and notice how angry you get at the group of people who don't like it or criticize it. You are quite quick to lump them in the same category. Your performance in the PMMM review threads was so stunning that Zac jokingly threatened to change the swearfilter for the f-word to your username. Please don't preach to me.

Anyway, enough of this slapfest. I do hope dtm is unbanned soon, I look forward to his insightful views, especially once PMMM v3 hits the shelves in the west.

Wow, thats like...totally not even the same thing. I was...discussing things with people. People who were (proverbially) right in front of me. Any comments I made were in direct response to things they had personally posted, and despite the language I used, I did not stoop to egregious, non-sequitur personal insults.

On the other hand YOU (and a few others) leap on articles like this to broadly smear people you have never seen before, and to make sweeping statements about anyone who doesn't see things your way. And that doesn't even touch on your (sarcastic, I'm sure) statements about killing "moe characters" and how that would be a better game.

So please, spare me the sanctimony, I am quite aware of how I act, and as far as I know, I have not actually insulted you, personally. While you most certainly have insulted me. By and large I don't care, but that last one was way out of line.

Nope, no hate just derision and some pity. It's just fun seeing just how ronery and desperate they get for companionship, that they now have 2-D girlfriends to take baths with. It says a lot about the person who would need an application like this. It's amusing, but at the same time you can't help but feel sorry for them.

So, superiority complex. Got it. Also, it's hard to take you seriously when you use the non-word "ronery." Type the word out properly.
