well episode 3 proved me right. with a twist.

Episode 3
It is like they kind of fell into one of those child mini battle tournament anime for the episode, especially with the over the top referee. Except their their first opponent was spoiler[some older guy who commited sexual harrasment, and the reveal of champion being someone they know was figured out straight away] with pretty high parody. Not to mention that spoiler[they still lost despite useing their secret weapon.] Also noticed that the controls appear to be based off of XBox type controls, with A B X Y having the right colours, perhaps the dual thumbsticks (touch screen, so pads). I wonder what is the deal with the shadow organisation, and weird celebraty |

After ep. 3, I've decided that Kai isn't necessarily annoying, he just doesn't interact well with others. I thought it was amusing that even the other characters in the show seem to think he should be getting some Aki lovin'. I guess she'd have to beat him at KB first
Also interesting is how Kai's condition seems to be spoiler[the exact opposite of Aki's, wherein he experiences a second of time over the course of several seconds/minutes]. spoiler[More than likely it is directly related to her condition, so there must be something more to their relationship than the fact that they are in the same class and share the same hobby/interests]. I like their pad things, something like mini iPads.
They're pretty cool and useful too ^^ Guess we are not too far from that future world. The tournament has finally begun. Tanegashimachine-3 vs Devilstronger! That was a really nice battle. That control system rules! They swept the competition with ease until finale, but Kai seemed off. Hidaka got tricked into saving their club, how nice LOL |

I found episode 3 to be most enjoyable and it made me glad that I did not drop the title as I flirted with after eppie 2. I think they came up with a plausible and humorous way to spoiler["lose the battle but win the war."]
I no longer find Kai to be an annoying drip. Several mysterious elements have been put in play that make me want to keep on watching to see how they play out. Well done. |

That new girl really is eccentric, but that kind of makes her great. I can go for a text speaking, BL loving, mad scientest, her voice sounds a little old though.

Misaki's The Right Stuff reference at the beginning of the episode made me laugh, I would have expected Space Brothers to make that reference before this show.

spoiler[Ghost in a machine. Kaito certainly got interested in it. So he ditched club activities to go ghost hunting. His Airi ghost girl turned out to be Sister Centipede. Secret files and Kimijima Report.... smells like danger.] Looks like Kai stumbled into something very interesting. |
