Oops, I realized that now especially after the end of this episode lol. Anyways, another decent episode this week. That spoiler[embrace between Haru and Satoru was memorable~] Shame I heard this show wasn't going to be a 2-core though. |

spoiler[Satoru really needs to loosen up a bit. I get his family situation is really hard. This way he's not gonna accomplish anything. Haru also unnecessarily complicated things.. Guess she's really attached to Satoru, more than he realizes. The story of Haru was a sad-happy mix. Really nice episode.] |

I'm glad that Haru is going to be a regular on the show now. I can look past how annoying she can be sometimes because she is just TO DARN CUTE!
Though i kind of feel sorry for Gin since he's probably not going to be able to sleep all day like he normally does with the little bugger running around lol. |

Good ole Gin-sama is one of my favourite character types: the big galoot who makes a show of "can't be arsed about this" but who, deep down, really does care.
And Haru-chan is adorable. Yes, I too am saddened that this will not be a 2-cours. |

In the previous episode I found Haru to be a bit annoying but this week's back story has helped redeem the character and I'll admit it had me wibbling.
Gin is great. I love his big paws. X3 Casting Seki Toshihiko as Makoto's father was a very good choice, though with Kill la Kill also airing this season I can't help but think of Senketsu, LoL. |

WELL. That was a real tearjerker. I thought that Haru was a bit annoying in the last episode as well, but seeing her back story in this episode has made me think otherwise now. spoiler[Why she wears that scarf was especially adorable, just like Gin and his love for oranges.]
Gin is the best. And so is Makoto's dad for understanding him despite not being able to see him. |

Episode 6
Great episode again. I like how Satoru is finally able to get along with others despite his spoiler[height complex]. Now, he could cheer up a bit and realize that he's spoiler[never alone especially with Haru and his new friends.] Lol @ jealous Haru though. Priceless. |

Satoru really made himself at home.
He's still too stiff though. He needs to relax a bit. Gin did overreact about the spoiler[brushing] ^^" spoiler[Haru was actually pretty understanding this time. It was kinda surprising. Looks like her behavior is improving slightly. Satoru] is still struggling with himself.. but his getting better. |

Episode 7
Another great episode! Those spoiler[monkeys might be causing some trouble but they had their reasons. I had some doubts of them at first but after seeing the explanation, I think they weren't trying to actually do any harm to the humans.] Jealous Haru was funny to watch as usual~ |

@ Gina - kinda makes you wonder what would happen if those two ever met.
Yep, those heralds were a couple of little monkeys, that's for sure. I like Shohei's oldest sister - she seems like a bit of a terror. Looks like a Funabashi eppie next time - wonder what that will be all about. |

Poor Shouhei, he has to deal with monk business and 3 sisters.

...not to mention a big fat cat and a snarly girlfriend who seems to have a bit of a wandering eye.

It's quite the coincidence that I was reading this entry on Shinbutsu Bunri just before I started watching this episode referencing it.
My aspiring K-12 teachers are completing mock lesson plans for extra credit where they have to incorporate anime in a lesson in some way. I suggested Gingitsune as an option because of its religious and historical references, and one group has taken me up on the offer. I can't wait to see what they give me. |
