"Loan" is a noun. "Lend" is the verb. "Lent" is the past participle.
"Shawarma." That's something I had to look up. "Spiros" isn't good enough any more? Greek is out and Arab is in? Must be where the money goes. |

Some of my friends nearly died laughing when they saw the shawarma scene. It's an established fastfood here in the Netherlands (you can even get pizza topped with shawarma or fries with shawarma, so they went and got some themselves right after the movie. Now it's a thing. They even have matching t-shirts.

I for one am guilty of being in circle 3. (In fact my favorite manga is the one who's giving us this tour!) I own a bunch of those types of manga, (I love zany "everyday" stories.) But to be fair, My taste is changing for more of the "Shoujo" romantic comedy manga's. (I STILL need to buy Ouran though, that's my favorite Shoujo of all time at this point.) so my taste for manga is getting better.
