Don't know if anyone else noticed, but seems kinda weird that the pic with the cabbie hat got like 100 votes today and jumped from 3rd to 1st. Hope there's no under-handed dealings going on in the background. If so, I hope it stops just for fairness of the contest.

Hi, catbus27.
I'm the one who made the cabbie, and I didn't cheat. An unfair win isn't a win, you know?
At any rate, 100 votes a day is not a smart way to cheat, especially after June 29th.

Hey Everyone,
Well, the contest was closed one June 29th, so that's when the people over at Reed Publishing checked in on the poll and saw Shi Yuan Kuang's "Libby" (one of two entries named "Libby") in first place.
I should have closed the poll on the 29th, however I completely forgot (I was busy with Anime Expo).
Anyways, congratulations to Shi Yuan Kuang, as well as to all the finalists.
Pthalo, your entry was one of my favorites. I think I voted for you in the poll, and you were one of the three (along with "Libby") that I recommended to NYAF.

Scoping out the rest of the Finalists. They were so good -- I almost drew tears.
For second and 3rd -- I'd pick the Cabbie and Ooki Saru.
*The Cabbie represents the average New Yorker.
*Ooki Saru is a neat play on King Kong.
