That picture.................... Shizuo is a tough guy, not cuddly!
It's like making an arm cushion of John Wayne. |

Love that too. Refreshing to find more of these items aimed at the female market.
I kind of see it as the "adult" version of how you used to have those mascot characters on your bed sheets as a kid. |

Hey, where's Mikado? It's always the bad boys girls fawn over
I bet these will sellout immediately at cons. Still need more fujoshi merch to reach parity though. Equality FTW (actually comiket has a majority in female attendance and fujoshi material, so at least the doujinshi side is covered) I also wonder if it's coincidence that Durarara is set in Ikebukuro, home of Otome Road |

Considering that he has his own characters make fun of it I'd say he was very much aware of what he was doing These are pretty tame by comparison to some of the official Tiger & Bunny or Sengoku Basara stuff out there. There was a Kotetsu mousepad on Jlist awhile ago which had you rest your wrist on his ass |

I don't know what's worse, that being official merchandise or me feeling kind of bad for a fictional character. Can't we fans let him keep his dignity and buy some wholesome keychains instead? |

How is cuddling with a pillow "creepy" and "disturbing"? Kids cuddle with pillows/stuffed animals all the time. >_> Not allowed to do cuddle as an adult? Uhm... k. And these pillows aren't nearly as bad as the female counterpart ones. At least the guys are wearing their clothes! |

I like merchandise and have my fair share of figures and a few plushes (not for Drrr though that show didn't do it for me). But this type of merchandise is just really not my thing to put it as nicely as possible.
But I do find it hypocritical that certain people are complaining about this type or merchandise when similar (and even worse) merchandise exists for male fans for other series. I mean I dislike this type of merchandise too but not because it's for women. |

I think the true test of the quality of the pillows is how easily you can interlock the two of them so that they are cuddling each other.
Regardless, I continue to find this merchandise equal parts hilarious and disconcerting, but hey whatever floats your boat. |

I love how most people are like "omg creepy!" even though nobody ever seems to complain about full-body pillows with underaged girls on them =_=
Anyway, I'm one of those creepy female fujoshi otaku that your mother warned you about ;D Needless to say, I really want these, especially the Shizuo ones. Now if only they made these for Tiger & Bunny too, though I still want that Kotetsu plushy and those bed sheets.. |

As a person who has been watching Duraara since it first premiered on TV on AS, I've got to say, this is rather, well odd.
It's hard to pin point exactly, but something just seems a bit off with the pillows. I am guy, so I realize these types of items really are made for the female audience in mind. But I wonder why didn't they didn't include any of the female characters as well? Anri, Celty, there are others as well. I am not saying this is creepy, as much as I am saying this is just a tad bit odd. |

I'm sure the people who don't like these we're a little creeped out when those first appeared too. A bazillion years ago.
It is kind of creepy when you're pretending to cuddle with a fictional character.
But those stuffed animals don't have sexual undertones (overtones?).
Huh? Nobody said anything like that.
Yay, I'm not the only weird one :D |

I lament all the cries of so-called creepiness. It should be celebrated as a progress! Ah well, at least fujoshi can find some solidarity with their otaku brethen..
lol.. or they can couple it with her head-in-a-jar with programmable eyes |
