I had to wait forever and a day before the last volume of Comic Party was released. V 4 was December 04, and 5 didn't come out until January 06, when the series had previously been released every 2 months. But it finally finished

If it's a problem with the publishing company, then it might affect both, since they are both published by the same company, Haksan Publishing. |

Yes, but a single publishing company can have multiple magazines it works with. The problem could have simply affected one of their magazines. *shrug* Queen's Knight seems to be coming out regularly, albeit slowly. ~Shadrach Anki |

This is the longest "hiatus" Togashi has taken on HunterXHunter (at least since I've been reading it). Has he ever taken any longer breaks? It's been about 6 months or so, now.

It's a real shame about Jiraishin...I love that manga. It deserves a complete US release...minus the stupid new title...

You're the one who said (emphasis mine):
If it was just the magazine, wouldn't the news just be about the magazine, rather than the complete publisher? I'm not saying The Queen's Knight will be affected, but from what you yourself said, it certainly would seem within the realm of possibility. |

Let me add a few titles;
Dark Horse: Seraphic Feather; Paradox Press (DC Comics): Gon; Viz: Galaxy Express 999. I've also read where the creator of Gash Bell was injured and taking some time off to heal. Frustrating, but you deal with it. 2 October 2006: I've found out that DC under its CMX banner will start publishing Gon in February 2007.

What was up with the Beet the Vandel Buster 6-month hiatus? Its over now, and i only have 4 volumes, but i was surprised when i read it in Shonen Jump. Im assuming it was for the anime for some reason?
Also excellent list, its really helpful. |

The first chapter was in Shonen Jump to give readers a chance to preview it before buying the series. Thats how I discovered Death Note. |

I'd like to know this as well. I remember that it was supposed to be coming out, but never saw it and eventually forgot about it. Which is disappointing, because I love ABe's work (see avatar). |
