Setting/world wise they succeeded in making Fate seem like he was thrown into a world with a long history that he knows mostly nothing about. Yet one has to wonder if that is because the story is being written without much planning or if there is indeed a larger story planned that characters like Eris know a lot more about and thus act vague on purpose.
As for defeating scummy bad guys, seems like a second season would have no lack of those. |
