We are trying to identify a TV series of the late 70s or early 80s like "Manga Sekai Mukashi Banashi;" among its episodes, included "The Happy Prince" and "Snow-White and Rose-Red" by the Brothers Grimm.
We know that neither is "Grimm Meisaku Gekijo." Here I put image samples of both episodes, compared with "Grimm Meisaku Gekijo" and "Sekai Manga Mukashi Banashi" Thank you http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v218/calros/calros091/grimm_zps6403f01e.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v218/calros/calros091/grimm2_zps022b37a6.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v218/calros/calros091/wilde_zpsc02a16d6.jpg http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AJlkWPN6kTE |

In Strike the Blood, who was the girl who helped Koujo return to his normal self after he was turned into metal in episode 22? For the likes of me I just can't remember where she appeared earlier in the series.

So, I want to check out Wolf's Rain but I have a question about the English release.
1) Did Funi or Sentai pick this up out of Bandai's corpse? 2) I'm aware that a) there are 4 freakin' recap eps and b) the actual last four episodes were an OVA released a bit later. My question is: did Bandai release these last four episodes? Is that DVD 7, or did they spread 26 episodes (including 4 freakin' recaps) on 7 discs. Mostly I need to know these two questions, thanks for any clarification! |

1) Not sure. I haven't heard anything personally
2) Gonna split this into two a) The recap episodes really aren't that bad, since there's one for each character, and you get to see the events up until that point from their perspective. Sadly, that's the one DVD I'm missing. b) Yes, DVD 7 is the OAV. |

^Ok, so it's 30 episodes on 7 discs then?

Yeah. The traditional 5+5+4+4+4+4(+4) of that time period.

I have a question about Orenchi no Furo Jijou, and there doesn't seem to be a discussion for it, so I'll ask here.
The Encyclopedia lists both the anime and manga as a comedy, and from the episode content, I'd agree. But the OP seems like it's for a different story altogether, or at least one that looks like a drama with tragic elements. Is there some other source material for this than the 4-koma manga? Whatever is going on in the OP looks really interesting! It's just not what's going on in the episodes, which feel more like those comic OVA shorts for serious dramas like Titan and Vanadis and Akame. Except without the full-length drama part. |

I think the OP is just fluff to play on the initial setting. I get a very Free vibe from it, so I would not be surprised if it was mostly just comedy. It feels like largely a joke on such a series anyway. I can think of other series that have a serious OP and are surprisingly not so.
