You're going to make me wade back into it aren't you. Oh, well. Only for you.

Just a a sample:

spoiler[Eins: Give back Aria!
Tamaki: What are you talking about? As you can see, we are running around the forest aimlessly with a sword. As usual.
Eins: I won't forgive you! A girl who once gave me a flower was killed so you must die!

(pointless mage battle ensues. isolation mode whirlwind)

Takuma: Raaarrrrrrr! Tamaki run!
Tamaki: Uh, no! (actually one of the few smart things she ever said)
Takuma: Monster! Here comes the monster!
Tamaki: (plants a wet one on him -- hump hump)
Takuma: Hey all better now.
Audience: YOU MEAN THAT'S ALL IT TOOK?

(whirlwind subsides)

Takuma: Hey Eins look I got some so no problem anymore. Why fight?
Eins: Power! It's all about the Power!
Audience: What happened to getting Aria back?

(doesn't matter -- all mages fall down now)

Baba: I planned all this.

(meanwhile, back at the ranch -- er logos)

Aria: Stop killing someone.
Drei: Yes, mistress. Just because I deposed and imprisoned you doesn't mean I won't continue to submissively follow your orders.

-- and so on ---

There's more but I have to get back to my second most least favorite activity: hacking bash shell scripts.

And here I thought the lol moment was when Takuma first brandished his sword at Eins like a 6 year old just before the OP (maybe this happened last week - I lose track). The only thing missing was "Take this, evil doer!"

That would make a great script for Hiiro no Kakera Abridged. They should do it - they could abridge the whole series down to just two episodes.

But yeah, the "I planned all this" was definitely the headdesk moment.

Episode 11

spoiler[Tamaki & Takuma romantic autumn meething was really nice.
Those two are such ana nice couple.
It's a shame they never got to have a normal high school romance.
The whole thing was just sad...
It was nice of Mitsuru to tell the truth about the whole deception from Baba-sama.
This sure was an interesting episode with some surprising twists.]

spoiler[So Aria could bitch-slap these guys all along and decided to wait until now because...what, she wanted to see Vier in bondage? And what the hell does Logos want anyway? Apparently it's not killing anyone, nor keeping the artifacts nor getting the sword.

Anybody buy the old bat's death scene? She hasn't cracked an emotion under any circumstances throughout two seasons, don't see her starting now. And you didn't just deceive her, granny, you tried to kill her. That requires a whole nother level of apology.

Considering Tamaki hasn't gone to school in weeks, maybe she (and Takuma, for that matter) could get some other clothes besides her uniform? At least for the sacrifice. Somehow a sailor collar and miniskirt doesn't seem fitting for an ancient blood ritual. But everybody sure looked pretty in this episode.

Did they recycle this week's creepy closeup from last season? oO]

[Mod Edit: Just use the spoiler tag function. Went ahead and added those in for you. - Keonyn]

Indeed. And implementing them is actually event easier than typing out that sentence telling people not to read because of the spoilers.

I do apologize for the wrong episode number. That was unforgivably stupid, and spoiler tags wouldn't have helped that.

ya know, when you find yourself rooting for the charactersspoiler[ to actually go ahead and sacrifice themselves to be done with this show,] it makes you wonder why you are still watching. Curse my completionistic nature!

I actually like the spoiler[transformation into guardian/god] that Takuma makes though.

Over all I am really glad these is just one more ep left I guess. Feels like it will end well, which probably doesn't matter since it isn't going to make me like this boring boring show anymore. Seriously, how did it turn out so bad? I never came to care about any of the characters, I couldn't decide if I wanted to laugh or throw-up when the guardians pandered for affection at the very end, and there was no good chemistry between the characters at all, and certainly not in a romantic sense either, so the relationship betweenspoiler[ Tamaki and Takuma] seems week at best to me.

Episode 12

spoiler[Baba-sama dead. Things got easier and more complicated at the same time.
Tamaki really stepped up to her princess role.
The guys finally and truly became her guardians.
Eins turned into a true monster..
The guardians true unsealed forms were half monstrous as well.
At least they were fighting to save the world.
Then Logos stepped in and brought more bang to the fighting.]

Awesome episode!

Episode 13 Final

spoiler[Looks like Drei used all of them to gain power for himself.
Lots of dialogue this time as well.
At least they explained a whole bunch of stuff.
The fights scenes were really nice to watch.
Tamaki resolved the Onikirimaru thing once and for all.
Now everyone can live their lives normally.]

Nice final episode.

Most of all, us. We can finally lay this one to rest.

I hate to see so much beautiful artwork wasted as it was here. Maybe "wasted" is too strong -- we could say it was put to poor use.

They wrapped it up as well as could be expected, but what kind of invocation is spoiler["please disappear?"] Talk about lame. The denouement of the bad guy showed no more imagination.

If they shoot a sequel, don't tell me ok?

I feel kind of the same, although I have to say I actually started enjoying the series in the last few eppies. Somewhat. It is a indication of the mental rot that has clearly set in that I would probably watch a third season, but I'm not wishing for one.

spoiler[The solution to everything, all the untold heartbreak, sacrifice, death and destruction, was simply to wish it away. D'oh! I bet 500 years worth of Princesses are just kicking themselves about now.]
