Just in case anyone missed it the first time: http://www.saraspot.net/4chan/4chan.html My favorite part is when they call us all "old farts" and then later ask why Wolverine Princess is a faggot. It reminds me of junior high. ^^; It makes me SO thankful for the content rules on these boards. Also, since it was deleted from this thread, here's the original "Why not whore ourselves" picture (which I love) and here's another one with some kind of reference to Canadian milk, which must be another 4chan meme since I have no idea what it's referring to. Also, since it kinda got lost in all this madness, I have to say that I LOVE Patachu's post about all the different anime website -tans. That ANS-tan, what a bitch. |

Hahahaha, that thread is so funny.
I guess some of these guys do hate ANN with a passion; and why did they single out Wolverine Princess I have no clue whatsoever. Lapis: I know it's funny when it comes from 4chan and that you probably are making fun of it yourself but that'd get you warned here, you know that. |

Because they are apparently reading ANN and saw her post. Funny thing is that they like to dis us but what they don't know is that we provide (or at least I provide) alot of hentai pics over there. No loli ones though.

I think the only "official stance" that is widely agreed upon around here is that ANN is anti-stupid. Unfortunately, this also makes ANN anathema to just about everything 4chan stands for. |

Beats me too...and I live in Canada. Maybe they still sell it that way in the part of the country frequented by 4chan regulars (any suggestions on where that might be...must be somewhere in southern Ontario  ) but not in my neck of the woods.

Oh Cloe, thank you for providing that. That is just too funny. I'm both laughing with them (we do take ourselves a bit seriously sometimes) and laughing at them (no explanation of that is really necessary). I think they are a bit jealous of us. You know, being able to think coherently, write in complete sentences, walk upright... And the "old fart" comment? Well, I guess I resemble that one, so maybe they have got something after all. |

Hate? No way! Do find it amusing, though. All my prior comments at least are totally not serious (except that I'm glad I got to see that link because I missed it before). I keep forgetting it's hard to tell in writing sometimes. Seriously, though, I would never read a forum like that on a regular basis. But if the people over there like it, and want to take an occasional pot shot at us, then so what? The internet is is plenty big to accommodate all of us. |

Uh, I don't see anyone being hostile toward them in this thread. I go there for their humor (which often brings me to tears from laughter), and usually take their comments as such too. The site mainly exists for only humor also (and porn). As far as their feelings toward us... I'm sure they probably do dislike us, and it's obvious they were taking a jab at us by doing exactly the opposite of what it would have seemed we wanted (by turning the picture into the exact opposite of what it was meant for, then posting it here). Seems everybody here found that humorous though, just shows that they don't know us quite as well as they thought... But anyway, it doesn't surprise me that they did it, that's what 4chan does.
Heh heh, no they aren't. I already know a lot of people on that site are perfectly capable of writing coherently (since I am friends with some and have seen them do so, I actually post there myself too). But would it really be as funny if they did so? Not really... They act like idiots on purpose (something a lot of people seem to misunderstand). I know many of them are intelligent. If they weren't, they wouldn't be able to keep up with or understand such a complex system of memes, inside jokes, references, etc. |

Easy. If you claim to be 13 years old (regardless of whether you are or not), female, frequent 4chan, and top of that lash out against them, then you'd be targetted too. |

You it is a bit funny though since they think she is a pedo in disguise like some people around here think. Pants is right though I think some people over here take them a bit too seriously. 4chan really is the best place on the internet to go to get some good laughs, they have had me in tears plenty of times...just thinking about it makes laugh.  As I already said I too post there alot and they really are alot smarter then some people think they are around here, they just don't act like it because they don't have to.  Course there is plenty of occasions where some of the users will say something really supid but hey it is all in good fun (most of the time).

I suspect a big part of the reason ANN is seen as being anti-loli is Zac's position on it (specifically mentioned in that 4chan thread). It's a shame the save of that thread can't include all the pictures. When you click on them, the page just saves "4chan.com" Some of the pictures where to small to tell what was being said, particularly the ones that appeared to be screenshots of another thread. |

Guys, c'mon, I was being facetious (trying to at least). I guess maybe I should give up attempting to be funny on the internet because I either can't communicate it well or else my sense of humor just isn't so great in the first place. 
I'm sure all kinds of people enjoy 4chan, and it certainly serves its purpose. From the admittedly little I have seen, it's not the first place I would spend time as I don't have a lot of tolerance for tons of mindless stupidity, but I can see that I could be missing out on some good stuff in among the rest. |
