Did not expect Haifuri to be popular on males. Yeah, it has fanservice, but its moe and girly.

Really? It's clearly piggybacking on the "cute girls in military aesthetics" like Kancolle and Girls und Panzer.

"moe and girly" are exactly the things many male Otaku like. Add in a good chunk of military fanservice and, yeah, you have captured the male Otaku pretty handily.

I guess I need to learn anime demographics and target market preferences.
In another topic, The sales of OP single of Haifuri almost beat the sales of ED of Kabaneri in its release week, even though the ED of Kabaneri is showered with praises and the singer of Kabaneri ED is your popular Aimer plus a member of EGOIST while the singers of Haifuri OP is your bunch of voice actresses (but their group is "popular"). Kabaneri ED only led by 259 sales. I guess it's because Haifuri knows how to cash off the male money.

Satisfied that Flying Witch, Hai Furi, and Kuma Miko made it among the overall Top 10! Smile Great shows with plenty of cuteness and spontaneity.

Near all moe titles attract more males than female. Occasionally the ratio can go up to beyond 9:1
