Do you mean in that SJA magazine thing? 3 options:

1. They won't replace it and wait for the author's next series.
2. They replace it with an older series that has already been published.
3. They replace it with a less popular SJ series like Beelzebub.

My guess is either 1 or 3, but because I don't read SJA I don't care that much about what they do with the magazine.

rofl, you know japanese shonen jump is like 400 pages? 20 pages is nothing to them. If anything, that's just more advertising space they can get money for!

There's no reason they wouldn't start a new series to fill the slot. If there isn't one scheduled, they can fill the space with one-shots or something until one is ready.

The pique of speculation for replacements right now is either Blue Exorcist, as it would fit in so well with such a shonen lineup, or Katekyo HITMAN Reborn!, for the same reason as Blue Exorcist as well as the fact that so many people want to see Viz take it off hiatus. If Reborn! is brought back when Bakuman. ends, it'll be two years since the last chapter was published. The only thing going against Blue Exorcist is the fact that it's released monthly in Japan, which wouldn't mesh so well with it being released weekly in the U.S.

I quit Shonen Jump when they began WSJA, but with as much resentment for WSJA that I do carry, I'd carry just as much relief to seeing Reborn! continue through WSJA... How annoying it is to have a discontinued series sitting on your shelf, and I am in need of more bookshelf space too...

My bet is they'll bring over those new Kenshin manga stories and make 'em site exclusives for a while. Would like to see Beelzebub, Sket Dance, Toriyama's Go Go Ackman! and Watsuki's Frankenstein, though.
