MIB 3 also opened #1 in Japan; yet The Avengers hasn't opened there yet! Japan sometimes gets things late. Laughing

It opens on August 17th. You have no idea how hard it's been avoiding spoilers for the last month.

And this week's new release in the US, Prometheus, won't be coming out until August 24th.

I do not understand these scheduling decisions. At least Dark Knight Rises is only delayed by one week. And the Rurouni Kenshin movie looks potentially awesome.
