My guess is that they probably feel the gag is past its sell-by date. On the other had Toshino being the class cut-up never seems to get old. Girl most likely to get detention. Life without her would be boring. Should we rename this thread for Season 3 or start a new one? |

That is a good question, but I really don't think the discussion gets too big to need a new thread. Season 3, Episode 1 A little lower key than I expected, what with I think the second season starting with that crazy Akari being popular thing, and the 1 hour thing having the macho bit. Introductions is supposed to be a part of it in general, with some "Akarain~". But it has its strengths, like Chinatsu's obsession. And although I got a little worried, we got some minor character moments with Sakurako's younger sister meeting Akari, and although just a picture some of Akari's sister in the preview. |

Season 3, episode 2:
Haha, Ayano in a nutshell this week. That was some pretty quick running...(I think she out-ran a bus) Akari accessory makes its appearance: 
Also the episode made me kinda hungry with the sweets. Glad I watched this after eating today. |

I thought maybe Akari would be a friend to everything so much that she would not mind spiders, but I guess not. It was funny for the imagine spot of Akari riding one, and the expected broken Akari after she was "attacked". And some Akane. |

All of the gags so far have been familiar to me since I've read the manga. First I thought they already did those in the previous seasons, until I remembered.
Still, I'm very happy for a third season. Loving it! Especially the Ayano x Kyoko moments!

Good thing we got to see more of Chinatsu art, Akari had to hang in there. Also, Sakurako being tackled to stop her from taking more of Ayano's Kyoko time.
Also, Akari finally coming across Chinatsu's sister, Tomoko, who likes Akane. |

Well, this week's episode felt somewhat slow but I'm fine with it considering how cute it is with family relationships and a mini Akarin in the flashback.
On the contrary, we do have more scary expressions...

Tomoko was so cute. I feel sorry for her, but at least she got to sleep next to Akane! Too much Yui x Kyoko for my taste, but otherwise I enjoyed the episode. |

Whoa the fourth episode was great. There's usually at least one joke that doesn't work with me and goes on for too long in most Yuru Yuri episodes, but this one just hit all the right notes, even for characters I don't particularly care for. I'm enjoying the third season a lot more than I enjoyed the first two.

Same here. Which slumber party would you prefer being part of? I rather enjoyed the Kanji lesson. Good to know some Japanese kids have problems with it -- it isn't just me. Looking back I realize I started this thread with rather disparaging remarks about this series. I have to confess that if I were writing today I wouldn't have the same attitude about it. It seems that YY has grown on me. Somewhat. |

I had a feeling I would see that Chinatsu face when went to the forum. I would say about a third of the reason I watch this show is for some craziness from Chinatsu.
