I can understand not wanting this on day one if you currently have a Wii.

Since I recently(Not so recently now I guess) had my Wii broken I've been meaning to get a new one. Since the WiiU has backwards compatibility with the Wii I see no reason to not but the WiiU now for the wii games I currently own instead of buying a new Wii now and then a year later buying a Wii U for the eventual next Smash Brothers.
