I don't care what it costs. Absolute, pre-order, day one purchase.
Now where's the "second half" of my Higurashi anime...? Talkin' to you, Funi! |

Hm. That's interesting. Seeing as I assume it'll go for an M rating (as opposed to AO) maybe it'll actually get some decent retail release. I may or may not get this (does the game also have a soundtrack by Kenji Kawai? Because that may make all the difference) but if they release the DS version, I might get that.

Although I haven't seen the anime series, I might just pick this up. I've had a penchant for horror / supernatural themes, and this looks like it'll be right up my alley. It'd also be a good nudge to encourage the continuing licensing of visual novels.

Wow. Looks like I'll get to experience a good version of Higurashi, as I abhorred much of the first TV show.
Nice to see more decent VNs getting released, instead of just the "safe" simple sex overloads usually grabbed. Hopefully they'll bring their A game to the translation. |

They're publishing a good deal more than just one of the manga adaptations. They've already released all of Onikakushi/Abducted by Demons Arc and the first volume of Watanagashi/Cotton Drifting Arc, and they have release dates up through the last volume of the third arc on their site. |

9 games for Higurashi, including the Rei fandisc, which they apperently did not license(yet). Four question arcs (Onikakushi-hen, Watanagashi-hen, Tatarigoroshi-hen, and Himatsubushi-hen), four answer arcs for Kai(Meakashi-hen, Tsumihoroboshi-hen, Minagoroshi-hen, and Matsuribayashi-hen) and three extra arcs for Rei(Saikoroshi-hen, Batsukoishi-hen, and Hirukowashi-hen). The first season of the anime goes to Tsumihoroboshi-hen. |

A Day 1 download. Now if Funi will get around to licensing the second season of the anime, I'll be a happy camper.
