Two definite yuri series is a lot! Surprised

Granted so far 2009 provided a number of anime series that are so easily yuri slashable and/or has yuri content like K-ON, CANAAN, Saki, Suruga's arc in Bakemonogatari, Marimite season 4, and Kanamemo.

I have absolutely no idea since I don't particularly enjoy Yuri. But I believe 1 yuri annually would be enough.
But who cares, that's just my opinion.
Yuri fans must be overjoyed by now.

Aoi Hana at least is a very, very good series, very intelligent discussion of relationships and romance, with no fan service, and certainly no stupid apps like this. I don't know what your issues are with yuri, but Aoi Hana is definitely worth both reading and watching!

for actual (or mostly featuring) yuri, only a couple: Aoi Hana, Marimite 4, Kanamemo

keep in mind that's out of about ~50 series so far this year

bighead711, you so have a point there. This reminds of the aspects of dating sims: They can hinder the true aspect of going out and finding a real date yourself.

I don't know, even if it does hinder getting a real date, at least it's cheaper than dealing with a real woman.

Although we're often quick to denounce such types of people, I've got to admit that they're pretty good at managing their money by substituting an inanimate object for a live girlfriend--Getting a real girl often involves spending lots of money on dates and presents, and it gets worse if you decide to marry because, you then need to constantly spend large amounts of money supporting her and potential kids down the line. Not to mention, for all the money/time you have to spend in order to be with her, you run a good risk of her either rejecting/abandoning you mid-flight, cheating on you, or even being so obsessive about you to the point where she tries to control every aspect of your life--From a cost-based perspective, it's actually more fiscally sound to go after a 2D girl instead of a 3D girl.

Hell, getting a wife is probably much more expensive in the long run than owning a flamboyant "otaku room"--Such rooms probably amount to no more than maybe $30000 (which you could probably get it back if you sell everything), whereas raising a family with one child over a period of 20 years can easily cost more than $150000, plus the risk of having a naggy wife and a noisy/disruptive kid.

Well, you could always have women work and pay for things themselves rather than living in the 19th century...

Even then, it's not like you can keep for yourself the money your wife earns and spend it the way you want to--She's going to spend her portion of the cash the way she deems necessary, and that may be more than what you consider to be necessary for maintaing the family. Additionally, even if the responsibility of paying for the costs of maintaing the family were evenly (divided between the husband and wife (fat chance), we're still talking about a cumulative total cost of $75000 on the husband. That's still a lot compared to owning a $20000~$30000 otaku room (actually, I might be overestimating it--It might just be $10000 to $15000), especially considering the fact that it might additionally increase in value over time.

I managed to get all the pics somehow. Don't ask me what I did to earn them, because I have no idea.

I got a girlfriend making 3 times as much as I do by working as a nurse, do you have any objection to that? Rolling Eyes

Seriously, if you're too cheap as a man to even treat a woman like a human being, you can at least be more considerate and compassionate when it comes to a woman's thoughts and feelings. You are human at least, are you not?

Then again, that's not something you can learn from playing porn games, or even dating sim game for that matter.

Thanks! now I have a good gut feeling about Aoi Hana. I don't have any issues with Yuri or even Yaoi for the matter.
