Very interesting news to hear. Even at just two episodes, the story has been great so far and at this point, it already seems like there would be enough material to make a freshly-cut compilation film out of it, perhaps in the vein of Gundam Wing Endless Waltz Special Edition, which featured additional scenes to bridge and supplement the OVA episodes. I suppose this is will be yet another film that Madhouse will be carouseling at various film festivals.

Probably just new narration and scenes to go along with it to aid in the flow of the film, instead of just having it go at the slower pace of the TV version.
