man this is going to be sweeet!!
One of the biggest cons in canada, it's three days long at the Grant MacEwan college. Official hotel and special rates at the Holiday Inn Express Downtown with 24 hour events at the hotel. Over 200+ hours of anime to watch...almost to much goodness to bear! tell you what, all the info is at this site http://www.animethon.org/ so feel free to check it out. They've got tons of anime, manga, music, and memorabelia for sale in the dealers room, so make sure to bring lots of moolah. sweeetness!!!! |

I live in Edmonton and, for the past few years, I haven't been able to make it out to Animethon. This year I really hope I can, though. As long as I've been and anime fan (and that's quite a while) I've never actaully been to a convention. Looks like it'll be a good time!
