It was announce way back but people didn't know what was going on with it. But the initial D movie is the real deal. Anwayyas I got news that it will be releasing very soon. I'll bring a full update when it comes.
http://www.initialdthemovie.com/ I have a feeling that this film might flop, hk never had good success making racing film. The biggest reason why initial d is so fun to watch is the Super Eurobeat music, if they do not include this, I think it's a big mistake. starting Jay Chou (not sure if he can speak cantonese). Anne Suzuki (you might known her from a hollywood movie or from her big japanese hit: The Returner). And your usually big-time hk actor, too many to list. The question comes to mind, do you think Hong Kong should do anme adaptive film? Or would you prefer hollywood with all the crazy special effect.
