I've never sold via Amazon's marketplace, but I doubt that they're so demanding. I'd wager that the merchant uses a bot so set prices and it's gotten out of hand. First they came for the Hugo Awards, and I didn't speak out because I wasn't a Hugo Award nominee... |

| I wonder if goHastings made a typo when they posted this “Buy It Now” listing for Kyo Kara Maoh S2 V1 (2007) - Used – DVD for $13,319.36

| Only $100,000? Shoot, better get me an anime boxset instead of a nice car... | ||||

| http://www.amazon.com/ It's insane how all of the other volumes for FLAG are around $6 but this one is $100. I mean, really? Gotta love the corner store. I'll just read the plot synopses for these episodes. (That's me being desperate.) |

| Isn't it just rarity?
I don't see the second volume of Flag for sale elsewhere. |

| Yeah, that volume is rare now, but it's awfully shocking to see the price for one volume rocket up that high after a few months. (Now I'm kicking myself. Gah. This would probably be more appropriate for the "regrets for not buying" thread too, huh?) | ||||

| I know and sympathise.
If I remember correctly, the Bandai store even had a special offer on the full set just before it folded. (Not to make you feel worse or anything!) |

| Flag vol 2 also had replication errors/problems, like Eureka Seven Vol 11 and many other Bandai dvds, maybe that's why it is particularly rare. This is not much condolence to people who own the other dvds, but anyone wanting to own the complete series with the artbox should look at this:

Listing and re-listing won't affect how much you pay to Amazon. You can also change the prices quite easily without having to do so. You can toggle active/inactive with one click. Inactive meaning that it won't be listed. |

| I've been looking to pick this puppy up for some time now, and reseller M and N Media has it listed in "new" condition. What a deal! I'm totally stoked to put it in my cart http://www.amazon.com/ |

^One of the reasons I NEVER shop at the Animecornerstore anymore. Shameless price gouging from an etailer that buys back discs for what is it? 3 bucks a pop?
it took me years to get around to watching that show (the first Vol put me off), I never knew Vol 2 had problems, if I'd known I would've played it sooner than I did. Fortunately all of the discs are ok, no issues with playback or pic quality. The show is a little goofy with the use of the mech devices and all, but by the time the credits rolled around... damn if that show didn't bring a tear to my eye. Of course not on the level of an Anohana by any stretch, but it sure squeezed some empathy out of this ol' crotchety cynical bastard. |

What I love about this is at that ridiculousness high price they still charge you for shipping. |

| While looking through listings for Blue Submarine No. 6, I found this lovely steal from Quick_N_Easy Marketplace.

| I'm sure this has come up before, but this price just keeps getting better:
OreImo limited edition for the bargain price of $8999.99. http://www.amazon.com/ If we can use Amazons prices as a way to measure the value of our DVD collection, this one particular piece is worth more than the rest of my collection combined...wonder if I should sell it... |
