FMA and Major are both really special to me. Looking forward to both Arakawa-sensei and Mitsuda-sensei's new works. Very Happy

AWESOME NEWS!!!

Nothing will probably top FMA, but I hope we get something interesting and fun.

FMA is the STANDARD of what a Shounen manga "Should be", it's too bad that the other shounen popular titles never got the hint.

She's going from a monthly publication to a weekly? It will be interesting to see how she handles it considering the increased workload. One of the main reasons for Fullmetal Alchemist's success was that she planned the whole thing out from the beginning.

Technically, you're not required to have a chapter EVERY week to be in a weekly magazine.

Wasn't Arakawa-sensei going to continue that one-shot (sort of) story she had written a while ago, back in 2005 if I'm not mistaken?

I think the name was Raiden-18....

Whatever she ends up doing, I can't wait :3

A manga about sushi? I really don't see anything great coming out of that.

I think she'll be able to handle it; remember how long some of the last chapters of FMA were? There were all 50p plus a lot much longer than that. Besides, she'll be given a lot of asistants because of her previous sucess (hopefully).

Anyway, I'm hoping that whatever she comes up with is fun, even if it probably won't have the same impact FMA did.

The last chapter was a bit over 100 pages and the one before it was close to 80 I think...

If she is continuing Raiden-18, it's gonna get hilarious Laughing

Yes, but remember that the chapters of FMA going into the homestretch (before everyone went to Central City) were only about 30-35 pages. That being said, she was doing FMA and Hero Tales at the same time, and BOTH of them are finished now. I can't wait to see what's next.

I can't wait to find out what Arakawa's new manga will be about. Smile

And the idea of following a weekly manga again. Well I do follow One Piece but I tend to read that in batches not every week (and I am very behind).

she just need more assistants if she can't do 20 pages each week.

I'm interest in the manga about sushi.
