It is a good season for mecha anime but Majestic Prince seems to be the most solid and entertaining not only in character and world building but action.
It looks like we might be getting back to the action as early as next episode with the introduction of the new addition to the team. |

ok, who else watched ep 14 and saw spoiler[Izuru get a kickass new upgrade]? that was awesome. Looks like Tamaki might get herself a boyfriend soon

But I wonder where the upgrade came from. Were the frames supposed to just evolve in the middle of battle by themselves?
Excellent fight by the way, they've obviously been saving the budget just for that. |

Episode 15
Residual effects from the fight made Izuru extra cool as a person, causing everyone in the team (including the guys) swoon over him lol.  Lots of stuff happening this episode. I was surprised there wasn't a spoiler[slumping period after that badass fight scene as I would expected from an "imperfect" hero story. Izuru came back out with just the core of his unit and still kicked a lot of ass.]

Episode 15
This was one of the best episodes yet. I really like how each spoiler[member of the team were infatuated by how cool he was, but then nearly died by eating Kei's cake].  Strangely that put him spoiler[back to normal, but he still kicked ass with the most basic equipment]. Also thought the fight scene was pretty cool, there was particular moment that had Asagi spoiler[grabbing onto Tamaki's mecha to give him a boost]. Cool! And even Kei got a bit of fighting in.
Also funny that one of the Doberman guys finally spoiler[called someone out on raising a death flag], there had been enough of them already in this show for them. And the ladies asked if the competent officer had spoiler[died to be able to receive a dual promotion]. Also, did anyone else think that the spaceship thing at the beginning of the episode looked a lot like a Mass Relay? |

All I know is Izuru has gotten so badass, previous folk that were on his level or higher are getting insecure and I love it.

Somewhere around episode 6 or 7 this show really took off. I'm kicking myself for having dropped it and am now playing catch up. This show is quite the hidden gem.

Episode 17
Super tense episode. Despite that there were some parts gave a few funnies in the mix, like spoiler[Patrick losing motivation when finding out Tamaki is not coming], and when Tamaki said that she spoiler[thought she was the ace]. But then there was that end, spoiler[I can't believe their ace up their sleeve laser sniper rifle failed despite a direct hit, I was saying expletives as that was revealed]. |

The size of the explosion made me wonder if he had actually destroyed part of the town or the school. Goes to Earth to save them; destroys the town.
