Ottawa Ontario is a pretty odd city. I don't know if it is because it is a government city or what, but NOTHING ever seems to come here. But not any more. Last year a group got together and decided to start an anime convention right here in our home town. Before, most went all the way to Toronto (like I did last year
 ). I am not a promotor for the convention or anything, but I do know some of the people involved. It is being run by a group called SOAP (The Society for Ottawa Anime Promotion) who's website is here: http://soap.ottawa-anime.org/ and is called AC-Cubed. It may not be as big as Anime North in Toronto but you will have just as much fun. So come one, come all to Canada's Nation Capital.
