I guess the reason they won't publish the last 4-5 volumes of the series is because they know for a fact that they will be losing money from them (from the sale of the last 4-5 released volumes). It is either put them on hiatus or risk the company as a whole. I know which one I would prefer...although maybe I would react a lot differently if I was really into one of these cancelled series.
You are right about cancelling gin tama, there is no sign of that ending in Japan yet. The fact that the others are on hiatus means there is still a chance they will be completed...although doubtful |
