I think they said it was a week or two. |

I actually found it pretty interesting that Alice is the shortest girl in the show since they usually tend to portray Westerners as being larger than the average Japanese person.

I didn't know anything about this show going in and, as someone who grew up in the south east of England, my jaw was on the floor throughout Shinobu's visit.
All the details where really spot on, from the signage at the airport, travelling through Paddington station, the details on the columns at the railway station (see Polycell's pictures above), just wow! To pay so much attention to something that will probably be totally lost on the native audience, whoever was responsible for that you have my congratulations! All that aside, I enjoyed the show too, the characters where nicely realized and not generic. There was a really charm which I always enjoy. I will definitely be following this for at least the next few episodes. |

This show is too cute. It doesn't feel forced at all and I love it.

I don't know if "good" is the word I'd use. I especially found it odd to hear "your English is awkward" in incredibly awkward English.

I think the proper caveat to "good" is "by anime standards" |

It was cute, but there's not all that much to be said about this series other than that Certainly not the kind of show that could support a big discussion thread.

Episode 2
Still kawaii, although it does start to feel like some parts are a collection of four panel strips. I do like how Shinobu has a huge interest in English stuff, or perhaps it is Europ in general, even though she did not know what that was. Her room is very English styled, as were was her breakfast, while Alice had a Japanese styled futon, with a very Japanese breakfast. I decided to follow some English text in the ED and was able to find this website. It appears to be where they did their research for this, the bed and breakfast seems to look just like images from the first episode and what is used in the ED. |

"Miss Karasuma, your English sounds a little awkward." <--- Funniest line I've heard in a long time. I nearly fell off my chair from laughter.

As someone who has repeatedly vocalized his distaste for male-orientated moe, why are you torturing yourself? |

He was just referring to that one scene, not the Anime in general. And hey, he said before he loves the show because it's cute and charming. Doesn't sound like he's torturing himself at all. |

I don't hate moe. I don't know where the hell everyone got this bizarre idea. I invite you to look at the shows I'm watching this season: Watamote Kinmoza Il Sole Kamisama no Inai Nichiyoubi Fate Kaleid Free! I am an avid fan of moe. By the way, Lucky Star was my first ever anime of all time and still one of my favorites. |
