Suncoast has coupon books directed for "Otaku's"
Here's a list of the coupons (they're all good from dec 26th to jan 15th):
-Redeem this coupon to earn 5000 replay reward points & Showbidz bucks on any 1 anime or manga title
-Japanese Candy: Buy one get a second 1/2 off
-$2 off any manga book
-Anime DVD's- Buy 2 get a 3rd free
-Apparal, plush, and action figures - Buy one get a second 1/2 off
-Manga- Buy 2 get a 3rd free
-$5 off any anime dvd reg priced 19.99 or more
-$3 off any reg priced Anime CD
these can't be used with eachother. Either way, the manga coupon ALONE is worth the book, everything else is icing on the cake. THey're free at suncoast, i grabbed about 6 of them.

My Suncoast just recently left my mall and the next nearest one according to their website is 100 miles away in a super busy city, which I'm not interested in driving or going to. Otherwise, I'd totally hit that.

Not bad, unfortunately at least around here Suncoast charges about $10 more than local stores that sell anime so even with $5 off I'd likely still be paying more.

well, true, but for some they charge the same as best buy (24.99 for some series), so buy 2 get one free would be like getting 3 for 50 bucks, which is like, 17 bucks apiece which is really good.
And also their manga is the same priced as any other place, and buy 2 get one free is 33% off which is the best deal i've been able to find basically.
And i found a sister princess character cd with one song per girl, an extra 3 bucks off that would be really cool.

I never buy anything from Suncoast. I looked once and saw that their prices were generally among the highest I'd ever seen. Am I missing anything? At the moment I can't honestly see why anyone would bother with Suncoast.

Yes, they're expensive, only because they sell most things directly at MSRP. However, as XCTU was pointing out, sometimes with coupons and/or sales their prices might even out to something more acceptable. And they have a pretty nice sized collection (or mine did anyway), so if/when you get that coupon, it's not too hard to stop buy and pick up that title on your mind.

New releases are almost always $19.99 so I always purchase new releases because on their respective date, some titles are even cheaper than in Best Buy, specially Geneon titles.
So you say they are free at Suncoast? I'll pass by tomorrow. I have some old, certain volumes I missed in certain series, titles I want to pick up and I am not thrilled about paying $30 for each but "buy 2 get 1 free" makes my wallet happy.

Excellent, now I just hope that my local (well, it's not really that local) store is carrying these coupons. If they do, it would be great if they would let me grab a couple and buy more than one volume of manga. Some stores won't let people take five of the same coupons and use them. But I have a question. Are there really two coupons for manga? It's a really good deal, even if I just use one.
Oh and the timing is perfect. Just after Christmas, when I'll have some free time on my hands. XCTU, you're sure that the sale dates are correct, right?

They didn't have them at my Suncoast . I asked them and they the two employees said they didn't know anything about it.
I'll check again when I get back from vacation next week.

I guess i can try to scan them for you. They're all the same anyways, and it doesnt say anything about not being able to use a copy of the coupon. I just hope it comes out well enough to be usable.
