Bit the bullet and got myself an Easter prezzie: Highschool of the Dead CE. This is a double dip for me. This also marks the first time I've ever paid for shipping from TRSI. As an oppressed Canadian, I have to order $250 worth of stuff to get free shipping and I wasn't ready to place an order that size.

All three box sets of Dear Brother via Rightstuf. Been wanting to see the series for years and now have a legal means to snag it, thus might as well get it while Anime Sols has copies.
EDIT: Looks like my pre-order of the Puella Magi Madoka Magica: Rebellion movie shipped out today. My bank account's been charged for it.

Bought some various anime and manga for my step-sister's birthday (on behalf of my step-dad, since I'm the expert on these things. Shame I could only get one thing on her actual list). But I got some things for me at the comic shop too:
Jojo's Bizarre adventure part 1 v1
Requiem for the Rose King
Yukarism
My fav manga blogs have been jumping all over these series. I won't be able to go back for at least two weeks though, he said they're going to a con in Florida next weekend and taking all the manga with them. Hopefully they'll have one more sale before FCBD next month (because Adventure Time original 5 and Elfquest Final Quest both had new vols, which aren't on sale until next week, but I can wait two)

My final AnimeSols package arrived from RightStuf today: Black Jack sets 1 & 2 were delivered today. Hopefully the interest generated from those two sets will convince someone else to put the rest on DVD (Discotek perhaps? Or maybe someone new? Whoever got Dororo?) I hate having half a series, but at least Black Jack is episodic

got myself a 1 year elite video subscription from FUNI even though I won't be able to use it much at home since my connection is a joke (limited throughput and I've had to replace my cable modem box 3 x's within the last year already). But at least I'll now have a chance to check out more of FUNI's stuff.

I've been a member for a while now. I use it mostly to stream simulcasts but obviously Funi's entire catalogue is accessible through the site. For shows that I really, really like, I'd still buy physical copies, but for ones I'm less taken with, it's a good way to check them out without forking over more cash. Unlike some people, I don't have any problems with Funi's player, although I have noticed recently that there will be some artifacting right at the beginning of a show that clears up quickly.

Oh good, I'm glad it is not just me.
I've never had problems getting Funimation's player to work. Navigating their web site is another thing. Finding a specific episode of a show can be challenging. I think I have the hang of it but I forget if I don't use it regularly. Crunchyroll is easier to use, but their player still locks up occasionally. It is a lot better than it used to be before I got a decent connection.
