Saw on Facebook that the Sentai Filmworks store is having a 25% off sale on all orders this weekend so I went to check it out. I ordered the following on Blu-ray:

Bodacious Space Pirates: Abyss of Hyperspace
Strawberry Marshmallow OVA Collection
When They Cry Kai Complete Collection

When They Cry Kai was selling for $29.99 which is a 67% discount of list price, plus I got 25% off my entire offer making the prices on the other items good as well.

Apparently someone or some place got rid of a bunch of their manga recently, because my Goodwill had quite a selection today! Most of it were ones I already had - Alice 19th, Absolute Boyfriend, and Vampire Knight - and they were all early volumes. But I did leave with InuYasha Vols. 1-3 and ToHeart Vol. 1. Guess for InuYasha, I'm glad I didn't get rid of the copies of 5, 32, and 35 I grabbed from my local library's book sale, since I'm probably going to start collecting the series whenever I can. Granted, I'm sure the 3-in-1s are better (and aren't flipped), but I don't really mind collecting the individual volumes if I can find them for cheap. ToHeart... it's the first volume and figured I'd try it as a blind buy.

Also bought Yu-Gi-Oh! Bonds Beyond Time DVD at Walmart for under $4. Figured why the heck not. Razz

@Aura Ichadora

You do realize that Inu Yasha is 56 volumes long don't you? In the single volume version you will find some flipped and some unflipped. They also came in two different sizes.

At any rate happy hunting.

Yeah, I know. I found that out through Wikipedia when I was at Goodwill. I probably should've realized it with the other books I had, but I didn't even shift through them when I bought them (I got them for less than 40 cents each with a bunch of other manga they had for sale). >.>

Just pre-ordered from Amz UK: Escaflowne - Ultimate Edition (Blu-ray)
For £94.74 or about 126 bucks (as of this post). Release date: Nov 14th.
Should be Region 2/Zone B only. Hopefully I'll get to verify this before Thanksgiving?

If you wanted Escaflowne by Thanksgiving you should have just got the new Funimation version coming out on 10/18 which is essentially the same product. Unless you're from the UK and there is an Anchorage other than the one in Alaska that I'm not aware of? Confused

In the Media Blasters sale I picked up some naughty titles:
spoiler[Fleshdance
KanojoxKanojoxKanojo BD
]

..because that's really the only thing they're good for now, sadly.

Also some novels shipped out:
Overlord Novel 2
Strike the Blood Novel 4

^Actually I'll just be happy to get a set within my life time.Very Happy Thanksgiving would be ideal for the binge viewing & eating that's all.

..but yeah I did consider Funi's once I learned about it here. But I also like the UK releases that were done for Cowboy Bebop, Perfect Blue, & Kill la Kill, so plan A it is. Of course plan B for a double dip can also work, but first things first.
