Earlier I had made the request to merge Toshihiko Nishikubo and Mizuho Nishikubo together because of numerous evidence (some official hints as well) that they are the same person. They still are, but the thing is I'm wondering now if that person's real name is Toshihiko or Mizuho. Because I just came across this 1-year-on retrospective discussion of Otogizoushi by the character designer, director and line producer and for MIZUHO Nishikubo they say "His main directive credits..." (bold added). In the picture he/she/it looks relatively manly, but still it could be a woman with short hair.
Which is the original? Argh. |
