I'm glad too, the 3 days wait was quite painful.

Same here. I was so scared because I thought that the site is going to go down. I'm glad it's not that.

Me too. Welcome back, ANN!

I was worried for a while, when you guys were gone I went to the Soul Calibur forums. If it's not anime, then it'll be games I'm into, but I am very glad that the site is running again. Are you guys still having to upgrade?

My only beef was that while you were on your backup server, you called it a site "Hickup". I kept reading that thinking WTF, this is a little more that a hickup. Bad choice of words I think coming from a news organization; more accurate would be "System Failure" or "Terminal Error" or "you will only be able to access the front page and nothing else". But hickup, thats stretching it.
Not to mention it's spelled "hiccough" Wink ...still, it does seem appropriate coming from a news organization, since their job is to distort information and conceal the truth about how bad things really are are from the masses Twisted Evil Laughing Good thing I went out of town for the past few days, though I was able to surive without my daily dose of that addiction called the ANN forums (PS, not to start a flame war, but the AoD forums are confusing and won't even send me the activation e-mail... Sad )

Kinda figured that the site was down, but now it's ALMOST back to normal.

Anyways, Tempest, which hardware device died? PSU or HDD or something totally out of the ordinary?

Glad it's back up, I was out of town for the weekend anyways so it didn't impact me much aside from Friday at work since ANN is one of my best ways to keep me entertained at work.

I found it a nuisance not being able to look up anime info, although a websearch for different sites provided some. I'm glad the site isn't dead.

Having to wait for the forums to come back up was a nuisance.

I figured it was a personal case of Murphy's Law. I had finally gotten around to listing and rating all of My Anime here, so of course something would have to come along to erase all my work.

luckily it all still seems to be intact Anime catgrin + sweatdrop
