Well, the quote is most definitely uttered by spoiler[Sasahara in Genshiken as described by 12skippy21, and he seems to be referencing Amuro from Gundam 0079 in the aftermath of being Bright-slapped by Bright Noa.]

Just to set a standard for this, the request for top scorers to not claim open turns will be for the first 12 hours that a turn is open. After that I'll have no objections to anyone claiming it. |

Um, riding on the coattails of getchman's guess and assuming he simply got the characters the wrong way around, is this spoiler[Kaoru confessing her love to Junichi, Amagami SS?]

I finally watched that show, although I paid a bit more than I would have liked to do so. A sub only DVD release isn't worth $50, Sentai. TURN IS OPEN. |

So my strong hunch paid off. I knew that Junichi would never say that line but I also knew I had heard that line before and the show seemed to fit the style. Plus the glass floor implied a viewing deck of a tower and there was only one girl I knew of who had such a location for her confession. It was therefore logical to assume that getchman was on the right track but had just made a typo in his answer. Never be afraid to step on the corpses of the vanquished in order to reach your goal. So thank you getchman, your sacrifice was not in vain.
Well, no offence but obviously it was worth $50 because you still bought it. |

Well, I got part 1 for $15 during a Rightstuf sale, but unfortunately they were sold out of part 2. I got that for $35 on Amazon, but I had to pay full price for SS+. I just pretend that huge discount for part 1 covers the other two.
Of course the important thing is that I enjoyed it quite a bit so I'm happy I got it. But yeah, being over priced isn't something that would stop me in the right circumstances. And I actually consider buying the DVDs to be more convenient than downloading fansubs. |
